APAICS and NALP host National AAPI Leadership Academy NOLA

Gloria Chan, Esq., CEO of APAICS Asian Pacific American Institute of Congressional Studies and Sayu Bhojwani, Founder & President of the New American Leaders Project NALP held for the 1st time the National APAICS Leadership Training Academy in New Orleans, LA at both Tulane University and Loyola University campuses. Asian Americans are readily the fastest growing ethnic minority community in the U.S. and gaining critical mass as a strategic voting block in the 2012 political campaigns. Distinguished guest speakers featured U.S. Congressman Cedric Richmond, U.S. Congressman Joseph Cao, Heddy Nam from the Open Society Institute, and AAPI Hmong leader Pakou Hang.
